Tesalon syrups combine four clinically established actives. Tesaperlas softgels keep just two — the cough-and-mucus pair — for a focused cough-only product. Each ingredient does one job, and the product mix tells you which problem you're solving.

How to take it.

Always read the Drug Facts panel on the package before use. Adult, Children, and Tesaperlas formulas are calibrated separately — use the right one for the right person and the right symptoms.

Pick the right product
Multi-symptom cold & flu → Tesalon syrup (Adult or Children). Cough + chest congestion only → Tesaperlas softgels. Don't substitute formulas — actives differ.

Measure carefully
For Tesalon syrups: use the included measuring cup. Don't use a kitchen spoon — they vary in size and lead to inaccurate doses. For Tesaperlas softgels: swallow whole with water, do not crush or chew.

Follow the label dose
Refer to the dosing chart on each carton for the correct amount based on age (syrups) or per-softgel dose (Tesaperlas). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Stop after 7 days
Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a healthcare professional.

Before you take it.

  • Liver warning (syrups). Tesalon syrups contain acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if more than the maximum daily amount is taken, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or with 3+ alcoholic drinks per day.
  • Do not use with any other product containing the same actives without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not use if currently taking a prescription MAOI (for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease) or for two weeks after stopping.
  • Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, liver disease, or trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate.
  • Ask a doctor before use for chronic cough that lasts (such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema), or a cough accompanied by excessive phlegm.
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
  • Tesaperlas softgels: Adults only. Children — ask a doctor.
  • Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).
